The School offers a comprehensive academic portfolio spanning undergraduate programs in Clinical Medicine and Preventive Medicine, to doctoral training and postdoctoral research opportunities in Basic Medical Sciences. Our Clinical Medicine program, designated as a National First-Class Undergraduate Program, integrates the "Outstanding Physician Education and Training Program" endorsed by China's Ministry of Education and National Health Commission.

Research excellence drives our mission forward. With over 230 funded research projects approved over the past three years and about 120 million RMB in external funding, our faculty lead cutting-edge investigations in immunology, hematology, pathology and pathophysiology, pathogenic microbiology, systems biomedicine, tumor precision medicine, epidemiology and health statistics, and occupational and environmental health. We are home to advanced, world-class research platforms—including the Key Laboratory of Viral Pathogenesis and Prevention under the Ministry of Education, and the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine Key Laboratory of Pathophysiology—provide fertile ground for scientific discovery.
