November7–11, Washington, D.C.— The75thAnnualMeetingof the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD), the world's premier hepatology congress, convened at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. Among over 3,000 accepted abstracts, three research contributions from the Department of Pathophysiology, the School of Medicine, Jinan University, were selected for poster presentation—two earning "Poster ofDistinction"honors and one featured in aSpecial InterestGroup(SIG)highlight session.

Liu Junli, a fourth-year undergraduate in Clinical Medicine (Class of 2021), represented the School at the conference and delivered an oral presentation in the SIG session titled "Glycolytic Rewiring ofMonocyte-Derived Macrophages Promotes Immunosuppression in Hepatocellular Carcinoma." The presentation garnered
recognition and positive feedback from multiple international experts, demonstrating both the comprehensive scientific training of Jinan medical students and the School's notable achievements in medical education reform and innovative talent cultivation.
