Stem Cells and Development, using the planarian model with unlimited regenerative capacity to find peptides that regulate stem cell differentiation and function and conducting medical research for wound repair; Infectious Immunology, systematically studying the regulation of innate immune function and cellular signaling pathways by Toxoplasma gondii and viruses;
