Xu Geyang, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor in the Department of Physiology, School of Basic Medicine and Public Health, Jinan University. He graduated from Peking University and subsequently conducted postdoctoral research in the Brown-Goldstein Nobel Prize-winning laboratory at UT Southwestern Medical Center in the United States.

Main research directions :

Conducted a series of original research focusing on "the role of digestive organ sensory mechanisms in hormone secretion and energy homeostasis." Specific research directions include:

1) Mechanosensing mechanisms of digestive organs and energy metabolism; 2) Thermosensing mechanisms of digestive organs and energy metabolism; 3) Energy-sensing mechanisms of digestive organs and energy metabolism.
