Dr. Wu Nian, Master’s Supervisor, pursued her PhD at Imperial College London, conducting research in the renowned Glycosciences Laboratory under the guidance of Prof. Ten Feizi. Nian has long been dedicated to the research on the structure-function relationship of glycosaminoglycans. She has led 6 research grants across national, provincial/ministerial and university tiers.
Main research directions :
At present, her research mainly focuses on the preventive and protective effects of marine-derived glycosaminoglycans in models related to neurodegenerative diseases.
