Main research directions :
Stem Cell Homeostasis, Development and Regeneration: Investigating the mechanisms underlying stem cell homeostasis in development and regeneration.
Maternal-Fetal Health and Birth Defects: Exploring the impact of developmental microenvironment changes on organ primordium development from a spatiotemporal gene regulation perspective.
Translational Research of TCM in Embryonic Protection: Utilizing TCM active compounds (e.g., baicalin and atractylenolide I) to protect cardiovascular development under pathological conditions (e.g., high glucose) based on classic TCM concepts, facilitating clinical translation.
